Do Not Stand At My Grave And Weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft star-shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
                                  -Mary Frye

It is an amazing poem and I am touched deeply by it. This is one of the most eloquent portrayals of death I can recall. 'nuff said.

Drama

Personally, I don't deal with drama. I don't see the point. It is just a load of he-say, she-say, misguided decisions, and amplified emotions. However, many of my peers deal with it constantly, and though I am not their parents, I end up being the one having to listen to it.
THIS SHOULD NOT BE THE CASE!!! Never be so inaccessible to your child that they have to look to another child for advice. I'm serious.
Firstly, I don't want to hear it... and to be honest I can never care the way a parent will care. I don't even have the desire to care that much.
Secondly, I am at the same point on the timeline as many of them. There is almost nothing I can offer, that you can't. If anything, you should be the thesis, and I should be considered the challenger.
